Classification Level A

• Encompasses all duties, responsibilities, and skills of B and C levels
• Able to independently train others within this position on all classifications listed below
• Possesses the knowledge to properly alter the tempering process to achieve correct casting hardness specifications
• Demonstrates high proficiency in both production and quality

Classification Level B

• Encompasses all duties, responsibilities, and skills of C-level
• Able to operate ovens with minimal or no supervision
• Capable of organizing and planning of the product for maximizing oven throughput
• Demonstrates proficiency in both production and quality

Classification Level C

• Capable of loading and unloading all ovens
• Capable of performing hardness test based on the documented heat treat procedures
• The ability to start up, run and shut down all ovens properly
• Identify and comprehend job procedure cards for each part number processed
• The ability to operate overhead cranes
