Our part inspection capabilities run from visual inspection according to industry standards such as MSS-SP-55 to both wet fluorescent and dry magnetic particle inspection and liquid penetrant testing. Our foundry features multiple SCRATA comparator plates placed throughout the foundry floor, allowing instant reference to industry standards during visual inspection. We have multiple dry magnetic inspection stations and a wet fluorescent magnetic unit capable of AC or DC power up to 4,000 amps. Omaha Steel also features ultrasonic flaw detection and measurement capabilities plus portable hardness testers, ensuring each part meets all your requirements.
